The first partner meeting of the project was held on November 20-21, 2025, at the Institute of Electrochemistry and Energy Systems (IEES) of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Sofia. The event brought together project leaders and team members from the University of Ostrava (UO) in the Czech Republic and the University of Upper Alsace (UHA) in Mulhouse, France. Mr. Arnaud Babéro, Science and University Cooperation Attaché at the French Embassy in Bulgaria, also attended the meeting.
Project leader Prof. Stoyanova from IEES welcomed the participants and, together with Assoc. Prof. Plamen Nikolov, Director of IEES, introduced the institute’s mission, history, and research activities.
Dr. Madhav Chavhan (UO) and Associate Professor Julien Parmentier (UHA) presented their organizations and highlighted their contributions to the project. The meeting continued informally, allowing partners to discuss key tasks, upcoming goals, and collaboration strategies.
Participants also toured the IEES laboratories and facilities, including a live demonstration of the hydrogen charging station, which is an integral part of the institute’s infrastructure.
This meeting strengthened collaboration among partners and set the stage for the next steps in implementing the project
